Take a look at some of my all time favorites. These books have made me laugh, cry, and scream. They've kept me up all night, and were the source of my restlessness during the day. They've changed the way I think about reading and shaped my career as an aspiring author.
They have characters I'm utterly obsessed with. Be they a book boyfriend or a brave heroine, or if there was just something about them I could never pinpoint, but always loved...The struggles they faced were my struggles as well. I rooted for them. I cared about them. I ranted for them. And they deserve to be recognized for it.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.
